The Centurions have been led all season by a strong core of contributors, including Jonan Merle, Josh Poblete, and Kai Selleck. Merle led the team with 119 kills, while Poblete directed the offense with 168 assists. On the defensive side, Selleck anchored the back row with 80 digs and added 15 service aces, and Martin White contributed 31 blocks at the net, helping UC maintain a steady and balanced approach throughout the season.
Otay Ranch entered the matchup with a similarly competitive roster, featuring key contributors such as Eric Ryan and J. Rosendale, who provided offensive production with 10 and 13 kills respectively. Caden Omang led the setting duties with 43 assists, while K. Popperwill Corpus anchored the defense with 10 digs. The Mustangs also featured strong net play from A.
