Congratulations to the UCHS Girls Varsity Soccer Team on capturing the Gold Division Championship at this year’s San Diego Holiday Jubilee!

After falling just short in last year’s championship match, the Lady Centurions returned to the coveted finals on Saturday at UCHS, the annual home of all San Diego Holiday Jubilee bracket championship games. Now in its 11th year, the SDHJ has grown into one of the largest and most prestigious high school girls soccer tournaments in the Southwest.

The championship match featured a hard-fought battle against Valhalla High School, with the teams deadlocked 2–2 at the end of regulation. Two intense ten-minute overtime periods followed, but neither side could find the decisive goal, sending the match to penalty kicks.

The Lady Centurions rose to the moment, earning a 4–2 victory in penalties. Senior Captain Rafa Mazzoli sealed the championship by converting the game-winning kick, crowning UCHS as the 2025 San Diego Holiday Jubilee Gold Division Champions.

An incredible achievement and a testament to the team’s resilience, composure, and determination. Congratulations to the players, coaches, and the entire UCHS soccer community!
